Prayer of the Week
Father,
How I praise You and magnify Your name! You are Lord of all lords and King of all kings. You have created me for this special place and purpose—to do Your will. I am so grateful for who You are and for who I am in You. Thank You for this season of Thanksgiving; it causes me to reflect even more on Your goodness, Your kindness, and Your love.
Your Word says:
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
— Colossians 3:15–17 (ESV)
Father, I pray that You rule in my heart and have Your complete way in me. Please reveal any area I am withholding—any place in my life that is not fully transparent before You. Scrub the walls of my heart, Lord. I don’t want anything to hinder Your complete control of me.
Thank You for choosing to use me as Your vessel. I love You and praise You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
