Prayer of the Week

Papa,

Hallelujah! To You be glory and praise, YHWH. I worship and praise You, for there is no one and nothing like You. You are sovereign, and You reign supreme — and yet I get to sit in Your presence and hear You speak to me. What an indescribable honor. Thank You so much!

You have given me the privilege of sitting with You as You reveal truth to me about grace. I know there is still more to learn.

When You first began teaching me about grace, I understood it mainly as Your wonderful, undeserved favor — that I did nothing at all to earn Your goodness. But now You’ve shown me that grace is also a foundation I can stand on when the storms of life hit. When You tell us to stand in Ephesians 6, clothed in the armor of God, I can literally stand in the power of grace for whatever situation I face.

You showed me how Your grace worked through Noah — bringing him and his family into a new world. You opened my eyes to see that the humility of Esther was the power of grace that positioned her for favor and lifted her to a place of purpose as queen. You taught me through Gideon that grace is not threatened by our insecurities — instead, You use our weakness to display Your power.

Everywhere I look in Scripture, I see Your grace: covering, positioning, elevating, and sustaining those who stand with You — Jacob, Joseph, Gideon, Ruth, and so many more. Thank You for this lesson in grace and for the power You have given me to understand and witness grace doing its perfect work as I surrender each situation to You.

Thank You, Father. To You be all glory and praise. Amen
